31. October @ 14.00-17.00 (including food.)

RIMI/IMIR invites you to a free Workshop/ Masterclass with Elisabeth Schwartz in connection to the performance ‘Isadora Duncan’ on October 31.

The event is free, however registration through is essential.

Elisabeth Schwartz has devoted herself for many years to the interpretation of Isadora Duncan’s dances, which were transmitted to her in New York by Julia Levien, and within the Isadora Duncan Commemorative Dance Company (1978-1983). Back in France, she presented this repertoire in many theatres and festivals in France (Biennales de Lyon, Montpellier, Châteauvallon, CND, Opéra de Rennes etc…) and abroad.

E. Schwartz is concerned with weaving close links between choreographic creation, the history of dance and the analysis of movement. All of this knowledge informs her work as a dancer, teacher and transmitter of the Duncanian repertoire.

Sheila Atala, Jérôme Bel’s assistant will join Elisabeth Schwartz in this workshop.

The workshop will be held in English.
